Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: December 21, 2025

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all bookings made through the Ti Piment website or via our contact channels (email, WhatsApp, phone).

By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these GTC without reservation.

2. Booking

2.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made:

  • Via our contact form on the website
  • By email: contact@tipiment-location.fr
  • Via WhatsApp: [Phone Number]
  • By phone: [Phone Number]

2.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking becomes firm and final only after our written confirmation (email or WhatsApp) and receipt of the deposit.

3. Rates and Payment

3.1 Rates

Rates are displayed in euros (€) and include:

  • Accommodation rental
  • Standard utilities (water, electricity within reasonable limits)
  • Access to amenities mentioned in the property description

Not included: Tourist tax, optional services, personal expenses.

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 30% of the total upon booking confirmation
  • Balance: 70% payable 30 days before arrival
  • Security deposit: [Amount]€ payable upon arrival, returned within 7 days after departure if no damage

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer
  • Check (for French clients only)
  • Cash (upon arrival, for balance and security deposit)

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund minus €50 administrative fee
  • 60 to 30 days before arrival: Refund of 50% of the total amount
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund

Cancellations must be notified in writing (email).

4.2 Cancellation by the Owner

In case of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. You will be offered an equivalent alternative or a full refund.

5. Check-in and Check-out

5.1 Times

  • Check-in: From 4:00 PM
  • Check-out: Before 10:00 AM

Different times may be arranged by prior agreement.

5.2 Key Collection

Keys will be handed over personally or via a secure lockbox. Detailed instructions will be sent before your arrival.

6. House Rules

6.1 Occupancy

The accommodation may not be occupied by more persons than indicated in the booking. Subletting is strictly prohibited.

6.2 Pets

Pets are [accepted/not accepted] in our accommodations. Please inquire when booking.

6.3 Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation. An outdoor area is provided for smokers.

6.4 Parties and Noise

Parties and excessive noise are not permitted. Please respect the neighbors and observe quiet hours (10:00 PM - 8:00 AM).

7. Tenant Responsibilities

The tenant must:

  • Treat the accommodation and its equipment with care
  • Report any damage or malfunction immediately
  • Leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition
  • Respect the house rules

8. Owner Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Provide clean, functional accommodation matching the description
  • Be available for any questions or issues during your stay
  • Respect your privacy
  • Intervene quickly in case of problems

9. Liability and Insurance

9.1 Owner's Liability

Our liability is limited to properly performing our contractual obligations. We cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage to guests' personal property.

9.2 Tenant's Liability

The tenant is liable for damage caused to the accommodation, its equipment, or neighbors. The security deposit may be used to cover repairs.

9.3 Insurance

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation and personal liability insurance.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform their obligations due to force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government decisions, etc.).

11. Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR.

12. Disputes

In case of dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to find an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.
